I don't know much about plants, so I can't tell you what this is. I can only say that it was so pretty, I had to take it's picture! There are still many lovely trees and plants holding onto their leaves in the valley, but we are approaching the end of the colors.

I'm not much on leaves and plants either, but it is beautiful. And looks kind of familiar... Like a green long leaf here, which turns bright red in Autumn. 'Here,' being upper NE of the US.
