April Theme Day: Water

American Fork is named after the American Fork River and is nestled next to Utah Lake, so I thought I would show them both off to you today.

I took this photo in February when it was (a lot) colder than it is now. I posted this before, but thought it was perfect for themeday this month. This is the American Fork Boat Harbor and this family is ice fishing:

And this is our beautiful American Fork River during the fall:

Also, here is a little plug for a helpful website a friend has started. It's called UnderstandHearing.com and allows you to take an online hearing test and learn more about hearing loss.

There are 178 City Daily Photo Blogs participating in Themeday this month. Check them out:

Great idea having the warm and cold photos from the same general area.

Your second photo looks like it could have been in the movie "A River Runs Through It".

Here in the Netherlands we had about 2 inches of snow last Eastern. The country was in chaos immediately. Train switches froze so no one could go anywhere, the highways were jammed. We are the laughing shame of every country that still nows how to properly accept and deal with snow.
Love your photo's!

Oh wow, these are amazing contrasts - I actually felt cold seeing the ice fishing and then so warm with the autumn river photo.

Man, both pictures are wonderful. I love the ice fishing one, especially since I've never seen it in person!
