At the History and Heritage Pageant, we were treated to a presentation about the Chipman Angel. I remember when she was taken down after being defaced, but I had never heard the other stories, rumors and history that were shared.

The Chipmans. Now there's a Utah/Mormon royalty name/American Fork heritage if ever there was one! They practically built AF. When I lived in Orem, my neighbor was a guy named Cary Chipman. Nice, blustery fellow with a very petite, soft-spoken wife. I can see her face, but can't think of her name. Nice couple, though.
