Waiting for the bus in the cold this afternoon I shot a photo of the snowy mountains. 4 hours later, the whole valley was covered in several inches of snow.

wow, the mountains look so close and full of snow but no snow on the streets. As you wrote, it was covered in snow a little later. You other photo (Winter Wonderland) also does not show much snow on the roof tops but the mountains are covered. What beautiful mountains to see every day!

I just quickly checked it on Google and it says it is a digital SLR. Wow! You can spend a lot of time learning all the new features now. :) Enjoy.
