A Functional Birdhouse

We all have pet-peeves. I won't take the opportunity rant and rave right here, but I will divulge a little bit about myself by saying how ELATED I was to see this little bird emerge from this birdhouse near Rotary Park. There is something so satisfying about seeing a FUNCTIONAL birdhouse. It just tickles me.

How true. Birdhouses have become so decorative that they cease to be functional! We have just put up what we hope will be functional bluebird houses, plain, no paint.

They appreciate help with housing. I would too. I got all of mine repaired and am ready to hang them back up.

Nice photography.

That tree is like a man with hands up.

I agree with you, and I'm so glad that my post cracked you up! I got cracked up myself, seeing that guy!

Lovely composition with the dark tree and the snowy mountains in the background and then the little birdhouse hanging there.
