Fair TODAY: Dutch Oven Cook-Off

I love the county fair! These are the main course entries from the dutch oven cookoff this afternoon. Everything looks fabulous! Of course we watched the dutch oven officionados work, and listened to some music, looked at the 4-H exhibits, saw the Hogle Zoo show, checked out the animals (you know I love the chickens with the WILD hair-dos) and enjoyed the clown show. We enjoyed some kettle corn but were so sad that there were no navajo tacos.

Utah County Fair

American Fork is in Utah County and this week is the Utah County Fair. The theme this year is "The Fairest of Them All" and involves a competition between the cities to see which will be crowned... "The Fairest of Them All". The fair runs Wednesday through Saturday down at the fairgrounds in Spanish Fork.

The FAIR IS FREE as well as FREE PARKING. Don't forget your wallet though, because you are bound to find something you will want to buy. Example: Navajo Tacos (YUM)
