Ice Fishing at the American Fork Boat Harbor and WE ARE SEEING THE POLICE IN JULY!

We woke up to cold grey skies that were unfortunately in agreement with the forecast. Happily, it turned into a nice sunny day by noon. We took a drive down to the boat harbor after a quick trip to costco for spinach, milk and frozen berries. Oh, and a hot dog, slice of pizza and a very berry smoothie.

The Photowalking Utah group is up at the Moran Eye Center today and I bet they are having a blast. We have had some sickies around here this week and didn't want to get too far from home.

Also, we are kind of Sting and the Police fanatics, and the tickets for the Salt Lake City concert on July 19th went on sale today at 10, so we had to be home to snatch up ours before they were gone!! (This will be our fourth Sting/Police concert in four years... Am I lucky, or what??!!)

So, anyway, we were sad to miss the ohotowalking event, but will try and catch it next time. They are great!

I would love to try to ice fish, but I think I would be ready to go really quick. To cold for me.

Yes, Jim, it would probably be quite cold! Today was perfect for riding around with the windows down and snapping some photos, but too cold for me to find myself on a frozen pier!!

Wow! I don't think I'm brave enough to walk in so much ice. But it sure make for a beautiful picture.
