The Flour Girls and Dough Boys Artisan Bakery and Cafe is a relatively new addition to the downtown area. It was formerly the Naborhood Bakery, and before that, the Bryson Bakery. My friend Heather used to make the cinnamon rolls at Bryson Bakery and they were TO DIE FOR. (The secret ingredient is turkey flour from Lehi Roller Mills.) (oh, and butter, lots of butter.)
I haven't been to the Flour Girls and Dough Boys yet, but we parked there on our way to the dollar theater tonight and I begged my hubby to take me there on a date sometime. I will have to go back and take some photos during the day, but I peeked in the window and the decor is so cute!
UPDATE: Read about how good the food is HERE.

Creative name. Be sure an take your camera when you go.
A very intriguing sign! Hopefully, the inside products are very very good!
Artistic bakery sign. I would enjoy workig here. On winter weekends, I bake home artisan breads. Mainly French boules, rustic wheat, cardamom bread and the ocassional Panettone.
This place serves DELICIOUS home made soups and sandwiches for lunch. Not to mention the cinnamon rolls, pumpkin chocolate chip bar, muffins, croissants, eclairs, danishes, . . . I am a fan! Sure, the decor is cute, but the food is what I go in for!
This is my new hangout, the sandwiches are great, the bread is fresh and yummy! The employees are very friendly and inviting! Wi-Fi and a tiny play kitchen for kids. They opened in Dec and it's quickly being discovered...has a steady lunch crowd.
the food is great (particularly the shortbread chocolate chip cookies), even if the wait is a bit long during the lunch hour. don't forget the sour dough bread
my flour girls and dough boys review
The food is good but the wait is very frustrating. Maybe some multi-tasking or quicker service would help. We are unable to come there because the wait uses more of our lunch time - have to hurry to eat the food.
It looks like they have reorganized a bit from their early days. I never wait more than 10 minutes now at lunch. Nice to see a local place succeeding.
